His rhetoric when he left was that he had been insulted. It seems to me that if you listen to how JJ speaks of the Rams offer, it bothered him, and he basically stomped off. It looked to me like he wanted to stay, and was reacting against what he saw as the Rams undervaluing him.
Either way it's impossible for Jenkins to ever have gotten, from anyone, an offer that would have equalled or topped what Tru got by being tagged twice.
