Real "count up the actual instances" truth is, it's NOT.

Have you been watching Fisher's Rams for the last five years?

Fisher's Rams have a long-standing HISTORY of collapsing in games! It's like a sacred tradition under Fisher - whether it be on the offensive or defensive side of the ball, or both!

It happens SO often that I have a phrase for it that I have used to warn newer Rams supporters against complacency over the last several years when we've been watching initially-promising games together. "The Imminent, Inevitable Rams Collapse."

That would be 31 wins, 41 losses and 1 tie.

With full control, HIS people coaching, lots of high drafts picks, and FIVE YEARS to correct things and show improvement.

Yet - same result - five years running.

Not great, is it?

But let me guess...there must be an explanation for EVERY single one of those losses that has taken place under Fisher, right? It's NOT HIS FAULT!!

And yes - there is another, more accurate word for "explanation" in this context.

It starts with "E," ends with "S," and has the letters "XCUSE" in between.
