Sunday did not show that to me.First, we already knew he wasn't starting caliber before the season ever began, or he would already be someone's starter. And when it comes to that I don't care about the rankings...you're comparing him to starting caliber qbs. What Sunday showed me was that they had no offense without him. Which is pretty good considering what he is. It also showed that he was supposed to be a game manager for a running team. Which he would be very good at. Instead he has to stretch beyond his means and the result is, some fans dumping on him.
What you DON'T want from a game manager is a 50 pass game where he is all you have on offense.
That's not a game manager. That';s asking him to do more, so you can jump on him, even though he's the only reason they had a chance at all.
the ONLY reason why we had a chance to win this game was because our D almost completely shut down the Giants offense .

So the D was going to move the ball and score? Yes the D against NY was better than Detroit where they had to have 28 points to even be in the game.
Bottomline---which you're evading. Keenum is a game manager and no one in the known universe has ever said otherwise. (Which is why it's funny to see you acting like you're arguing with someone who said different, when no one has or will). But the situation has forced them to rely on him for MORE than that, and the end result is you complain about him because according to you he's just a game manager. No , first and foremost I complain about the HC going with CK at QB when he gave up a boatload of picks to Goff in the draft.
I complain about the HC not being able to get this Nr. 1 overall draft pick ready to start by now.
and to a certain degree , yes, I complain about CK who in my eyes is not even a good game manager but only an average one .
And that is not good enough if your D is not elite.
