No , first and foremost I complain about the HC going with CK at QB when he gave up a boatload of picks to Goff in the draft.
Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Meanwhile I also believe them when they basically say the rookie isn't ready to do any better.
..
Well, zn, maybe you have been believing too long and too much in what THEY are saying year in , year out.
Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111
What possible *realistic* reason would they have to lie about that? Think a coach would keep a clearly superior QB on the bench if he was ready to come in and tear it up?
I think people need to go back and watch his preseason. Not the scores, not just the completions, and not the TD. Watch his awareness in the pocket, his feet, and his timing. I'm sure he's gotten better, but this is a huge transition for him. Much moreso than it is for Wentz.
Funny you bring up his feet. I remember many experts raving about his feet and his set up in the pocket.
that was the one point where many said he is way ahead of Wentz and one reason why he would be more pro ready.
And it has nothing to do with lying but not trusting their "expertise" when it comes to evaluating and developing talent.
Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He does have good feet and can move around well. Looked very good at Cal doing that. But he's not at Cal anymore, obviously. Whether or not they can develop him remains to be seen, but it's way too early to render judgement on that. There are 4 sets of hands on him right now, working to get him up to speed. Al the things I said to look at are (IMO) a byproduct of thinking too much and not just playing with natural instincts and comfort in the system.
That's why he's not playing.
Has nothing to do with coaching.
