TEs and FBs should be running that route over the middle ... it makes no sense to me to send in our smallest player on the team to take a chance of getting steam rolled.
It is a "thread the needle" play ... and the QB didn't put the ball in the eye of the needle.... just touching the needle doesn't get him off the hook.

having TA going over the middle is not the smartest play call .
