Well, we all agree with that ^^^ part.

I dunno, Max. I can't tell the future, but i do remember that back in 1998, i was
writing that Dick Vermeil was an idiot and the game had passed him by,
and he was in over his head, and he should be fired.

Goff -- i saw enough flashes from Goff, that I'm quite optimistic
about him. I just hope they can grind out plenty of wins
before the Goff era really starts, next year.

Vermeil won the SB in his 3rd year.

We are now in Fisher's 5th year and he has yet to have a winning season.

Maybe that's more than a small difference.

I am always kind of amazed that people cut analysis short in this or that way.

The Rams had a team going into year 3. They had the OL (which played effectively in 2013) and they had the qb.

Both things got wrecked.

And then dozens of people act like that didn't happen or didn't matter. Or that it's not a factor.

That was the single BIGGEST factor in their develoment. They had to start over. That then is not only the elephant in the room, it's a bright red day glo neon flashing elephant and it's sitting on your lap singing world war I army songs.

And for the record I was defending Vermeil in the 99 off-season, before the Faulk trade in fact.
