That is the issue really isn't it?

I think we were all frustrated in 2012 when Fisher took over quite honestly. Don't you? We had several years of frustrating incompetence and losing from the Rams up to that point already. Right?

So, Fisher and Snead are handed the job of rebuilding this roster and creating a competitive team but only the playoffs are going to satisfy you and me and others who are tired of losing. Sorry! There is no instant coffee in regards to winning and losing in the NFL.

So, now you want to scrap the whole thing and just bring in that miracle worker coach who will instantly turn the Rams into a playoff team and maybe a Super Bowl team. Boy! Wouldn't I love to see that! I'm 60 years old and have been a fan for 50 years. I have seen lots of lean years and lots of winning too.

I don't know what to tell you.

Anybody you bring in as the head coach and GM now is going to be a do over. And there is no guarantee they will be any better or faster at getting us to nirvana. Just the way it is.

The Rams are more competitive now under Fisher then they were when they were under Martz in his last season and then Linehan and Spagnuola. Both Fisher and Snead have added talent to this roster. They had a run of bad luck with the quarterback position. I think you will agree with that correct?

Now they seem to have a steady veteran in Keenum and have drafted a talented young kid who may one day be a very good QB in this league. They took a shot by trading a bunch a picks for the number one pick. What would you have them do? They felt they were close enough to being a playoff team to take a gamble. They still feel they are close to being a playoff team and that is why Keenum is the starter. But you and others insist on throwing Goff to the wolves and hoping his great immediately. Why? Because the media says so? Because we have talking heads who state "Well if he can't beat out Keenum or Mannion then he's a bust." Baloney!

Lets see how it plays out.
