Intolerable Max? Wow. I can see being frustrated or impatient that Goff isn't ready yet, but intolerable? I don't agree with every Snisher decision. But going up to get Goff was brilliant. He is a major talent and I don't think we overspent at all. Before the draft the talking heads all raved about this kid and said it would take time. You would have to wait but he'd be a franchise QB. Now those same media people rant that he's a bust because he's not starting game 1. Don't fall for it. Fisher is patient. AD didn't start game one. Gurley, though injured, sat out too.
Were they worth waiting for? GRob was a 1-2 pick as the top LT in his draft and they moved him to OG so he could learn. Now he's looking good.
Why is it intolerable to wait for Goff to be ready? Whenever that is? You'd rather see him get sacked and lose fumbles against our arch rivals on Monday night? Not me. I think this will be a tough game and the OL is the key. TG needs a big game. Our DL needs to get pressure early. I worry much more about Hyde than our QB. I worry about GZ more than our QB. I'm hoping our OL makes it through the game injury free. So much more to worry about rather than a 21 year old kid learning from the sidelines. I hold him out against the Seahawks too. Goff could play at home against Buffalo. That's game 5. No sooner.
