On Keenum- can he deliver what he did for them the final four games of last year? That was 64% completions, 7.0 YPA, a 3:1 TD/INT ratio and a 91.0 QB rating. That's what they need from him (for however many games).
They are very raw and mediocre at best at WR. I like Cooper and Spruce but they are rookies. I think the best option for infused talent among their receivers is Higbee. He won't catch 50+ passes but he'll catch a lot of 1st down and do well in the redzone. I also believe Groh will use Austin better than he has been.
I don't know how you "rank" offensive lines, but I believe the Rams' OL (as long as they are pretty healthy) will be considered in the top half of the league. Both individually and as a unit their top 6 OL (plus Reynolds whenever he returns) are a good group.
Defensively, as long as Quinn and Donald are both starting the defense will play well. Maybe that's oversimplifying but if they're in there all the hand wringing about their secondary and OLB just won't matter much. Plus I think the Rams have the best DL depth in the NFL.
Sensabaugh doesn't do much for me. I think they downgraded quite a bit at FS. Their LB depth is paper think and I think Forrest or whoever takes reps as the 3rd LB will have a steep learning curve. But otherwise I like the Rams' defense a lot.
Last, Zuerlein needs to hit 80%+ of his FG attempts.
This team plays in a division with 2 of the top 4 teams in the league. Such is life. Same as it's been for the past 4 years. And like the past 4 years, this team could win as few as 6 games or as many as 10 in my opinion. So in that sense "nothing has changed." But unless they're in the bottom 1/4 of the league in health and specifically if their stars like Gurley, Donald, Quinn and Ogletree stay healthy I like their odds of getting 9 wins.
