I agree that I also believe 4 year College QBs that make it to the NFL can usually make a career. I believe that Star caliber rookies like Jared would be able to play and start somewhere like TB as able to do and Minnesota was able to do. I do believe with the right caretakers Jared could get thrown in with a few bumps along the way just as was Sam.

I agree there is an ideal but I also agree we are not a game manager away from the play-offs we never were and unless our defense is even better than ever since Jeff came we still are not Todd Gurley or not. Jared could be more than a game manager given his skill set. A primary and deliberate focus to bring that to bare would have been great. Groh was brought on because we were going to make a QB plunge but our OC is basically unproven at developing a QB so perhaps this is the only way Jeff can keep continuity and benefit the prize investment. If we faulter with Keenum we may find that Rob Boras will "bore us" and have to make a significant change to ignite this team with Jared a season wiser and unharmed.

I don't know but I cannot say it will hurt him that is for sure.

Fisher is probably making the wiser decision but not sure if we have a system or that will allow any QB to blossom but then you never know we looked pretty good towards the end of the year albeit not quite good enough and again a game manager is not going to do it.

Hoping Keenum can win 10 or 11 games seems delusional

It won't be QB play that holds us back; it'll be WR
