I've read a lot of posts that says essentially that the deck was stacked against Goff. He was never given a fair chance to earn the starting the job. Didn't get enough time with the 1's, etc.
Next year needs to be Goff's year. Next year Keenum needs to go to another team and Goff needs to be named the starter before OTAs. Better for him, better for the Rams.
Your post was even keeled and protects the arguments of those that believe Keenum is going to produce a winning record, which in return takes the pressure off of Fisher's top 2 most accountable assistants responsible in Boras & Weinke. It also protects the rookie qb giving him a safe & free redshirt rookie season.
An offense led by an efficient but average Keenum who plays well enough not to loose is something I won't fret about if the team finishes the season with a winning record. (If CK starts the entire season of course I will cheer for him to do well... what true Rams fan wouldn't)
I will always stick to my loyalty in team wins before an individual player. That being said, I will remain firm and
hope JG gets his first regular season start as soon has Keenum has 2 consecutive games of average to below avg performances. Not 2 consecutive losses.. 2 consecutive average to below avg performances.
