I suspect the Rams wanted to keep both 3rd round picks this year, so they offered a second from next year instead to get the deal done. And they still have a 1st round pick from next year. Couldn't they recoup a couple picks, maybe even a second, if they traded down in the next draft? It's an option, at least.
I really like the idea of four years (at least) of Fiske and Verse growing together with Kobie Turner. Forget what the outside world thinks.

I personally love our D-line now with the young guys we have. I can't wait to see them wreck havok.
I'm not thinking about a second round pick at all, until next year, maybe.
