every case the team trying to trade up is always going to “overpay” to move up….it is the “cost” to get your guy.
If it was point for point value(what ever that is anyways) it would be easy and more teams would do it. Also, every case is different depending on supply and demand
Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn’t…but Snead has one of the better track records when it comes to getting great value in trades.
I absolutely love this trade, pairing two guys from the same DL that was the heart and soul of one of the best defenses in college football is genius considering the void they are trying to fill…..giving up essentially what equates to a 3rd round pick in this years draft to do it, was well worth the price imo
