I like your reasoning but I think our D line and LBs will be weaker than last year. Nothing serious has been done to improve there. I have no strong confidence in Shula. I'm not convinced that McVay has learned that he has to move away from the pass happy cute play style he gravitates to.

I'm thinking with a little luck 12 wins max. That should be good enough to win a WC and if SF has a down year maybe even win the division.
