About the QB draft possibility. We don’t know how Rams rank these QB’s that might be within their range. That’s the all-important factor. If they see sufficient value with one of them then they just might pounce.
The value and importance of a franchise QB transcends all other positions if one is thinking long term. And who knows when a quality QB will fall into Rams lap where they’ll likely be picking for next few years?
Lots of moving parts in this potential decision.
And they may like their chances of getting an Edge, DT, etc in rounds 2-5 anyway. That’s right in their wheelhouse, right?
This is a FO that found the likes of Kupp, Young, Turner, and Puka in rounds 3-5, after all.
Personally, I now favor waiting for a QB, but Snead and his scouts may feel very differently. Just sayin’.
I see WR, OL (tackle), ILB, CB, and S as near term needs and with considerable value in this draft. I think all will be addressed by Day 3. But I wouldn’t bet the farm on it. lol.
