He played well on a contract year.
There is no doubt that that's a legitimate concern.
But he also could have played well this year because the Rams' blocking scheme was a better fit for his skill set.
Or maybe Wendell is a better OL coach than he's ever had.
Or perhaps it's just that the Rams' culture brought out the best in him.
I just hope the Rams know why he had a breakout year ... and act accordingly.
