Sure hope they can figure something out and bring Dotson back
at a reasonable price, but this is the NFL and
there are always teams who will overpay.The money saved from Noteboom and/or Allen renegotiating or given opportunities elsewhere should help cover Dotson, Jackson being resigned/raised?
If Dotson does leave, what do you all think of free agent Kevin Zeitler? A proven veteran you can count on not to bust.
A Zeitler contract would be half? of Dotson's for 2024 - 2025?
Dotson leaves - Rams "save" 18 mil? Jackson leaves - Rams "save" 9 mil? Total "saved" = 27 mil/yr
Use that "savings" to sign Tyron Smith & Zeitler (Smith 11 mil/yr and Zeitler 8 mil/yr) = 19 mil/yr)
Rams come out 8 mil ahead with 2 HOF type veterans with good years left.
