Look what the RAMS have done with how Sean has handled the QB position. Can the scheme of the O not help in the development of a QB? No matter his age? It's not as though the RAMS develop nobody. And if the RAMS are always picking in the lower half of the draft how are they going to get the best QB's to work from. 2 SB appearances, 6 winning seasons, 1 of the best winning % in the league.....but the guy isn't developing a QB?
Now if the guy was not lifting up Jared to a championship game, if he took on Matthew with the loss of 1st rd. picks and instead we were still picking in the top 5 I'd have problems with his handling of QB's and his not developing any with those top 5 picks he'd be getting failing with Jared and Matthew.....but the fact is those things didn't happen.
To me if anything it shows that really developing a rookie at the QB position isn't the proof of a HC with an Offensive mind set. Is the quality of a HC now if or if he can't develop a rookie QB? He does all these things, but dang, he can't develop a QB? IMO he really hasn't done it because he really hasn't been in the position to NEED to.
