McVay turned him into a playoff caliber QB in one year! He did it by building the team around his strengths and designing a system he could thrive in. Goff's exit was due to his own limitations vs the team expectations, not a failure to develop under McVay. This year's version of Goff looked a lot like 2018's. Just different end result.
