Re: I don't think McVay can or wants to develop young QBs

I brought this up in a thread last week, but as usual, I got crickets. I looked at McVay's entire coaching career to see if he'd ever worked with a rookie quarterback and I don't think he's ever done it. When Robert Griffin III was a rookie with the Redskins, McVay was the Tight Ends coach so he didn't have anything to do with RG3's development. His experience has been pretty much confined to experienced quarterbacks. I don't know if that's by circumstance or by choice but I agree that it looks like something he doesn't want to do 'cause he hasn't done it!
