I understand that as fans we have full right to complain, second guess, whatever.....and I did plenty of that.
But, as I've gotten older, I realize that this is competition between imperfect and often unpredictable humans, coached by other imperfect humans. And, with that funny pointed ball, it can take strange bounces. And then there's the imperfect officials. often times weather, injuries, all sorts of variables.
I'm just glad when things do bounce our way, and those coin toss wins go our way, and the other team screws up just enough for us to win when perhaps it seems like didn't do enough that we ought to win.
I spent too many years watching the Rams when it was the opposite. It seems that whether it was the Chuck Knox Rams, or the Robinson rams, or the Malivase Rams, or whoever that the Rams ended up on the losing side of those imperfect games. The main difference seems to be the coach (and maybe the GM), and this applies to every team. The Pats used to be infuriating that way, often asking why they seem to get all the breaks.
So, I'm just happy to see the Rams overachieve rather than underachieve; or have some good luck instead of constant bad luck.
And I'm not about to call out the Coach essentially saying that if I were in charge, I would do something different and it would be better.
