I would go further and declare the McVay/Snead duo as elite.
I consider Kroenke an elite owner, as well.
Having said all that, McVay is still learning and growing. He does make occasional inexplicable decisions in playcalling and personnel decisions (Havrisik, Rypien, Atwell, etc) when he does I see criticism as very fair game. It’s just the nature of the position.
Nobody objects to criticism of Snead when he blows an important high pick (Wagner, Greg Robinson, etc). And that’s with all of us knowing full well how imperfect is the talent eval process even for the best of the best.
