I can see where a reasonable person might take your positions on Evans and Atwell, AlbaNY.

But I’m gonna stick with my stated perceptions.

Namely, that Atwell could have been at least somewhat better developed and sooner if that had been a bigger priority for McVay.

And that Evans might be in danger of suffering the same fate if not given opportunities in a real NFL game. Practices and preseason games are one thing, but real games vs starters is quite another. I just don’t see a big downside to my suggested experiment.

I’m a huge McVay fan but I do see that he has a few blind spots. He’s only human, after all.
