If people were willing to put up with a Ref strike for a season, do you really think they'll care if they watch #2 running backs?

And yeah, I do think -- thought it would never happen -- people would care. I also think people here would
do the same in their jobs...maybe it is not a lot of leverage in their jobs or for RBs but most human beings
want to be valued.
As I have said, when people say "market" value---the NFL is not a "free market". It's a cartel
and price fixing and antitrust protection from congress---things other businesses don't have.
I get that some people think it is a market--they can think that, but it's not accurate.
But yeah ... people want to see the top players, not scrubs.
