this is a great thread. I am all in favor of fixing the issue. RBs are too important to the game IMO. Sure perhaps you don’t need an elite runner to win it all but in the team concept the running game is so critical. Why should every other position be rewarded but not RBs given the weight of their contributions

Mahomes won the SB with pedestrian numbers last year but Pochenko was huge in that game running the ball on that Philly front

I get the point you are making about clubs making a business decision too BUT!! For lovers of the game it’s clear this is broken and there needs to be adjustments made to address this
