Why so glum about ST’s, sst?

Here’s my take.

Blackburn is looking like a big upgrade over DeCamillis. I’m giving Blackburn big kudos for filling a literally empty ST room with several studs.

Ethan Evans looks like a huge upgrade over Dixon.

Xavier Smith (among others) might be a credible replacement for Powell.

The only fly in the ointment might be the loss of Gay (and his $8M salary). Meanwhile, Tanner Brown and Christopher Dunn both were among most accurate FG kickers in college football. Either would be an inexpensive consolation prize.

I now consider ST among the least of our worries.

Edge and CB are my 2 biggest question marks right now and I’m cautiously optimistic about both positions.
