Which means McVay won't be "fixing the issue" and we go through all this again year after year.

IMHO.....This off season Staff Hires will be all on McVay.....He either puts together a VETERAN STAFF and allows them to do their jobs, or his history is going to keep repeating itself.

Even if it's 50/50 with McVay and the OC calling plays together, that's better than nothing....Start slow and eventually give the OC more and more.

Here's my take.....Andy Reid does it in KC and it's working just fine.
