I actually blame the coaches and the lines. The HC has a I'm smarter than you attitude and his smugness affects his decisions. Letting the young guys good off. Always playing vanilla everything in the PS. Cancelling practices. He coddles these guys and what happens is when we go into battle the level of violence is shocking to them. GW tried to convince us that little hybrid defenders are betterby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, I really didn't like the cussing. I have two daughters and I don't swear in front of them. Thought it was in poor taste to use this language in front of a tv audience. Besides that, I didn't see much good training or coaching specific skills that would help a young team improve. I mean having Ariel the Mermaid wave to Hayes may be entertaining but how does this help him as a DE? Tavon shouby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
No way. Being a HC is a hard job. They have the best jobs in the world.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Our team was very frustrated. We couldn't do anything we planned of offense and in defense it's tough to get into your stance and then the offense gets unset and starts to look around for 10 secs and then reset and then gets the first down. Also, Gabbert's runs up the gut and slides could upset a D too. Nothing went right except for Hekker's punts.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think Stan fires Fish unless he feels he has lost the team. It would take several of these horrendous performances for him to act. I do think that the extension plan is on hold. Stan probably tore up the contract after the first half. I know I would.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Happy with Goff. Hope to see him play for us soon.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Rex also only cares about defense and running. His best team has Sanchez at QB. I think they're eerily similar. Both are done.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Jimmy enjoys being a celebrity booth expert. If he really wanted to coach again I'd love to see us hire him. A younger possibly more available version of Jimmy is Gruden. Think we need a more energetic young guy to bond with the youngest team in football plus he has won a SB in these player's lifetime.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Should be an exciting game. So far through 4 PS games and one real one, we're undefeated at home. Hope we continue that. Big game.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree that Hav will be fine. In fact, U thought he played better as the game went along. My point is why change the OL right before the first game? I would think we would go with our PS starters and maybe work Hav in for some plays.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
True. Also, I noticed that every time our QB kills the play he goes to a run. Never seen it in reverse. Fish does know that other teams watch film, right?by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Protection certainly matters.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Fish lost this team for cutting the kid who had a girl in his room. I'm a young man in my early 20's and my coach tells me no women? Glad to move on. Seriously, Fish talks about knowing everything Nd tells his team to trust him. He dies weird things like cancelling practices and barely plays his starters all PS. He tries to be pals with his players. It doesn't work with these young players. Theby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Remember when our GSOT Rams looked bad against the Cheatriots in 2001 SB? We later found out thT they tapped our pre game walk through so they knew exactly what we were going to run. It looked like that to me again Monday night. Did they Niners D intercept the headset relay? Was there cheating going on? Or are we too predictable? Maybe both. Even so, there should be multiple options on every plby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
So, all PS we have RS at ROT, Wicky T LG, Jamon at RG and we look very good. Hav was out with. Foot problem. So we start the first game and Hav is back at RT after a couple of practices. This shifts RS to LG where he hasn't practiced at all and we look terrible. Hav and Jamon were particularly awful. Later Jamin was out and Wicky was at RG. Did Brown get hurt or benched? You can't keep shufflinby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Sometimes the kick will be a few yards short of the goal line. I think you're better off returning it than letting it bounce around near the goal line. Certainly if you are near the back of the goal line it makes sense to take a knee. BTW, Benny averaged over 27 yards per return last season.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
A well timed slant is indefensible. Guaranteed to get you some positive yards and if you beat a seam could be a TD. Curls just get your receivers hurt with shots in the back. Love skinny posts, quick slants, screens and an occasional go.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Broken bone in left shoulder. In IR with possible return. Glad we didn't pay him.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Gotta keep throwing darts until you hit the target. Zack Stacey was decent. Tough rubber but lacked breakaway speed. Tre was the top RB in his draft. He had just destroyed his competition in his bowl game. I was very excited about that pick. Played well his rookie year. Now, we get to the 10th pick the following year and a transcendent RB with future HOF credentials is available so you pick him.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I didn't like that trade up either. Too high for a nickel. Fish obviously loves Joyner and sees him as a star at his position and he sees the position as a starting, key position. Don't worry about Hard Knocks. All for entertainment. Joyner should be fine. Don't care about his size because he plays much bigger.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I think with our front four and some imaginative blitzing QBs will be crushed. Our back seven will need to cover for an instant. I think Mo can do that and more. Really looking forward to seeing our D play. And TG20 and Tavon. Should be fun.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
First, PSJ nice post. I know it's hard to be patient, but it is way smarter to wait. I believe Goff can be a big difference maker like Gurley who didn't start game 1 and win rookie of the year or AD who didn't start and starred his first season. Max, if you want to discuss the trade do so with a real breakdown of the trade. One if the two firsts you quote was the mid first rounder from 2016 tby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
So now he's too skinny? Wow, the media in their zealousness to garner attention are going so far into the gutter they're swallowing sewage. This article didn't give me one new piece of information on Goff and his "situation." Not one. Maybe the writer could've researched and written a piece about specific parts to the actual trade. Maybe with comparisons to other big trades. Not justby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Snead drafted both Ryan and Goff. Maybe he knows. Matt Ryan... Purdy good. A Donald...not half bad...Todd Gurley...sorta hookay...Jared Goff... A no nuttin' bust I tell ya. Caint play... Do dang good-looking if y'all ask me. He should be throwing 9 touchdowns a game already!!by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Eli won two SBs. If Goff matches that this would go down as an all-time great trade and pick. You are worried about Goff's salary now? He hasn't played yet. Am I to take it you mean because he doesn't start game 1 he will only be solid? Don't see how that applies. Let me ask you this...if Goff starts at home Game 5 at home versus Buffalo after another month learning and looks like TG, he tearsby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
The reason Goff isn't playing yet is he isn't ready. When he is the best option for the team to win he plays. It has nothing to do with his talent. It has nothing to do with his intelligence. It is a different level and he needs to adjust. I hope Weinz looks good. He looks like an exciting young player. But, if I was Snisher and I knew now what I knew at the draft(which is impossible) I would stby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Little fast guy. Former 5th rounder. Ran 4.34. 5'8". Seems like a nickel. Will probably back up Joyner and maybe play ST.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
The LA love for the Rams never really ended. What happened is the team move From LA to Anaheim and then gutted the team turning them into a perennial loser as an excuse to move to St. Louis. This all happened long ago, but it did happen. When the Rams originally played in the Colloseum, they did so to huge crowds. I think they sell out all Colloseum games and when the new stadium is built in Iby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Wow, I can't believe this schlock was in the Sporting News. So silly. First, one can't compare the scrutiny of the first overall pick and anyone else. Second, The Rams moved to Hollywood and the spotlight is on them as this is by far the biggest off season story. Third, not being ready to start game 1 means nothing in a player's career. QBd play from 10-20 years and we're getting this worked up aby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Agreed. Thought he was one of our best OL last year at several positions. Hope we stay healthy while he's out.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
