He really is a terrible writer. The Rams were mediocre last year. Not a terrible team and every year's different. Huge turnover in players, coaches and in our case home cities. And the batting practice fastball analogy is ridiculous. Has he ever tried to his a fastball? Does he know that the greatest average hitter hit .367, which means he made an out 63.3% of the time? I''m shocked he didn't try to run it in.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, I couldn't believe Fish would go for two when an extra point basically seals the game. It was shocking. Don't think he's a heady game manager. More of a players coach who inspires tough play. I also cheer on the NY Mets and Collins makes an incredible amount on bone-headed mistakes but his players love him and win any way. They scored 17 runs today and won 17-0.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

Many good observations but I think you're being a little harsh in Tavon. He scored 10 TDs for us last year. That's why he got the $. He is a threat as a punt returner, as a WR and a RB. We haven't been successful springing him loose yet, but we will.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
If you are tight that Goff isn't a fit for Fosher then why did Fisher draft him? I don't believe the pick was made for him. Fish has total control and he hired Snead. Not the other way around. And I don't believe any HC would worry about scoring too fast or too often.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
You know, just a weird thought...Sure it must be fun being the starting QB for an NFL but the best part of it might be no one refers to you as number two.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Besides Our lack of a Bruce and Holt I see several strong comparisons to the players on offense for the GSOT years. Goff=Warner (we hope) Tavon=Hakim Gurley=Faulk Spruce=#4 WR GRob=Pace The rest of our OL look about as good. Our TEs look better. Yep, add 2 HOF WRs and a top OC to our current team and I'd say they have the makings to be as dangerous as GSOT 1999-2001. Britt is decent buby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
That's a good call. If. C K isn't getting it done and the kid Isn't ready why not play Mannion? He might play well and get valuable experience. He was a third rounder with big time skills and has been in the system for a year. It makes total sense to me. He may very well be our back up next season. He could showcase his abilities. He looked fantastic in that one PS game. Why not?by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
All true except we scored enough points to win the game. That is always the goal. If we win 2-0 or 3-2 great. And there were so many wonderful moments to grin about. Quinn's sack fumble. We really missed him last year and that is the type of thing he can do. GZ kicking 3 perfect FGs. Right through the middle. We got calls from the zebras. IMO it really doesn't matter what was in Fisher's mind after he drafted Goff. When they got to training camp Goff wasn't ready to play. Keenum looked good, Mannion improved from last year as he should and Goff had a lot to learn. He still does. Plus there were a ton of distractions going on like constantly moving and the whole HBO Hard Knocks thing. I have no doubt whatsoever that the moment Fisby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Thank you Waterfield for your positive post. I really loved Sunday's victory too. I don't see it as some expected win. That Hawks team is one of the best. And beating them any way possible is fantastic. We are not the GSOT right now. We are the '85 Bears. Let's win them all with our FGs and smothering defense. TG can play the role of Sweetness. I think Fisher meant when he said sooner than later he didn't expect Goff to be red shirted this year. When they made the pick I think that was the thinking. He'll probably have to sit and learn for a year but it will be worth it. When Goff got to camp he didn't know anything, but he works hard so later Fish started hinting that it would be Conner than later. If he plays in the first half of thby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I do think Fish gets scapegoated due to the shambles this team was in when he took over. We were the worst team in football with almost no professional talent on the roster. The guys we got rid of didn't get jobs elsewhere. We drafted a ton and added talent and improved. We drafted more young talent and improved but less so. Our lack of a good QB since Bulger has really hurt us. Fish has built aby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

The Keenum versus Goff thing has gone round and round. But what I think gets lost in the debate is Fisher's plan. Many here don't want to remember what our HC has told us. Instead it's pitchfork time and everyone who has ever worked for the Rams should be fired. Or Keenum is horrible because of this or this or that. So what is your solution? The entire front seven comes. Our 5 OL and a TE can't block them all. Don't we have audibles to hit routes in our scheme? Seems to me when they brought the house against Warner he threw quickly and we got big plays out if it. We were like please blitz us. Now we get overwhelmed. We've got to work in these situations. Very interesting article. First, knowing which toe. Netherlands ring finger toe is pretty important, but it makes sense he could play with it. I did the same as. WR/DE in HS. He scored 10 TDs last year. He is a great weapon. Throwing it to him behind the line from a stopped position is dumb and dangerous. Need quick slants, screens and go patterns. Also, I think we used the jet sweep like once last week and none in our opener. It's one of our two working plays. Hand it off to Todd or jet sweep to Tavon.
