As ZN used to say, they’re fine for getting you into the ballpark but one must beware relying on them for the close work. As an aside, it appears that Kendrick has ceased drawing those killer penalties and actually got a nice grade here on his on-field play. Moreover, Tomlinson is killing his chances with stupid penalties. So I’m gonna STFU about switching those 2 until further notice. Appaby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
They should be 3-1 right now and it isn’t a big stretch to say that they could have possibly even been 4-0. And most of these youngsters are still taking baby steps as they acclimate to the NFL.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Of course the kid can keep it up providing he can stay healthy. I think his play thus far has removed all doubt as to his skills. But there is only one football and Kupp deserves to get his share of the targets, too. And frankly, Atwell has become quite the weapon himself. Our WR abundance of riches has become quite a ‘champagne problem’ for Stafford/McVay now. And a monumental problem fby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

I have zero confidence in Wentz as Rams backup QB. In fact, if Stafford is injured to the point of missing 2 or more games then I think we’re screwed, anyway.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Matthew Stafford calls Puka Nacua 'a total-package player,' sees similarities to Cooper Kupp Cameron DaSilva During Cooper Kupp’s absence this season, Matthew Stafford quickly found a favorite receiver to fill the void. He’s leaned heavily on fifth-round rookie Puka Nacua, who leads the NFL with 39 receptions and ranks second with 501 yards through four games. It was also Nacua whby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s Elmgrovegnome… I haven’t re-watched the game again yet so I’m just replying to some comments on here. Durant is playing the Star position. I don’t think it suits his skillset at all. He’s supposedly helping to train TT-H at that position. But I don’t think either has the size to pull it off. I wish they had retained Troy Hill for another season. He’s cheap, taller and knows the posiby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Kirk Cousins calls Cam Akers good for morale Tyler Forness The Minnesota Vikings traded for former Los Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers nearly two weeks ago. One of the reasons the Rams traded him was that he wasn’t a personality fit in the locker room After nearly two weeks with the Vikings, starting quarterback Kirk Cousins was glowing about Akers, calling him good for moraleby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

Here’s OntarioRam… This team is very good. It is not yet a contender, but it should be next year, if we can hit on a few draft picks and make a few good free agent additions with our upcoming cap space. The Colts have a good defensive line and our o-line held up very well. Stafford was generally kept clean. Add a running back that is a game breaker - or at least a compliment to what Williams bby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s TexasRam… Just rewatched the Colts game. Drilled down into each pass pro play by our offense. I came away with the following - Awesome blocking all around by Havenstein, Dotson, Shelton and Avila. The group missed one 5 man pressure on a stunt but that is it for the most part. Noteboom had his moments of excellent blocks but he gave up at least 6 pressures by my count. He is obviouslyby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s TexasRam… Ok, just Rewatched the whole game and came away with the following: Noteboom wasn't as solid as I thought. He gave up at least 6 pressures, one of which he was called for holding. Stafford under pressure was overall solid, but more then a few times he had his outlet wide open in the flat and didn't see it. Can't knock the guy for what he played through though. Here’s TexasRam… Yea, I am rewatching right now. Just going through the first quarter so far. What really stands out is how outstanding the Oline is in pass pro. Dotson looks really good. All of them. I figure it may take Stafford a bit of time to recalibrate his internal clock after the @#$%& he dealt with last week. These things take QB's time. Stafford has all day back there and probablyby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s XXXIVwin… Re-watched the first half tonight. A few notes and details, including some "under the radar" players: Austin Trammel looked GOOD. I was wary of him after seeing some bobbles from him in preseason both this year and last. But today he was extremely sure-handed. Had two real nice returns (of 18 and 12 yards) negated by penalty. This is just a stream of consciousness post and in no particular order… As many of us predicted, this young Rams team is scrappy and very competitive. And they should only get better and better as they gain valuable experience and gel together. They should be at least 3-1 right now and that’s with a lot of youngsters learning on the job. I just don’t think this Rams O will be firing on all cylinders until Stafford is fully recovered. Such a shame.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteoldschoolramfan I really hope they gel together and are on opposite sides of the formation.....Gonna be tough on a defense that's for sure. Maybe. It’s not yet official that Kupp will play according to McVay. They’re gonna be very cautious.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteoldschoolramfan I still think of CJ Anderson when I see Rivers carry the rock.....He's a load to bring down. Williams is reliable and smart!!!! The guy just keeps pounding away and coming at you.....I like it! So, does that mean you’ve changed your mind about getting Jonathan Taylor? Lol.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteStafford9 This might be McVay and Raheem's best coaching, aside from Stafford, AD and Kupp you can not name these guys and we are battling for a playoff spot. I know there are posters like 2k, 43 and Shecky that use any excuse to bash the Rams and say the sky is falling, but this might be the best coaching I have seen. Matthew Stafford reminded everyone just how tough (and clutch) he is vs. Colts Cameron DaSilva There are only six players in NFL history with more game-winning drives in their career than Matthew Stafford. He moved into seventh place all-time in that category on Sunday by leading the Rams to a dramatic overtime win over the Colts, tying Hall of Famer Brett Favre with 43 in his careerby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
6 takeaways from Rams' nail-biting win over Colts in Week 4 Cameron DaSilva The Los Angeles Rams avoided disaster on Sunday afternoon after blowing a 23-point lead to the Indianapolis Colts. They managed to win it in overtime on a touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to Puka Nacua, but the game was much too close for comfort, despite the six-point margin of victory.
