One of which was to NOT run against a weak run defense opponent. Another was to leave Thomas out there on an island at LOT in 2nd half. Could have put Boom at LOT and Anchrum at RG. OR give Thomas some blocking help. Reminded me of ‘22 when Bobby Evans was left in despite endless woeful incompetence and expecting better results. Thomas clearly ain’t ready for LOT y’all. Quoteroman18 and IMO he checks that box. I do think he is a bit slow though and I wonder if his penalty issue is due to being a step slow so he would tend to grab. I do know he is young and really outside of Witherspoon they have no vet to mentor from at the CB spot. If he can learn to better read the routes in his coverages he may be able to offset that slow step by getting into better initiaby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

Here’s Oldnotdead… The OL play this year is a reflection of just how good of a coach Wendell is. He has made a HUGE difference. Their overall technique is good and they play with aggression. Van Jefferson is simply not pulling his weight. Nacua and Atwell have picked up the slack beautifully but I do believe that Rams O would benefit from some combo of Robinson, Skow, or Trammel instead of VJ until Kupp’s return. Once Kupp is back I think VJ’s fate is sealed as a 4th WR to be allowed to walk next offseason. Problem solved. I would make this move as soon as the Bengal game. QuoteAlbaNY_Ram Are you suggesting that the Rams have 4 RBs active on game day? Or are you saying that either Rivers or Freeman should be inactive so Evans can get his 5 or 6 plays in? Either way you are compromising the game day roster just to see your 4th string RB in a real game. That's the downside: someone who can contribute to that day's game plan would have to take a seat to give Evans aby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

I can see where a reasonable person might take your positions on Evans and Atwell, AlbaNY. But I’m gonna stick with my stated perceptions. Namely, that Atwell could have been at least somewhat better developed and sooner if that had been a bigger priority for McVay. Quotemtramfan I enjoy these dialogues 43. I see what you mean re: Evans, but his pass pro may not be the issue. Akers wasn't that good at pass pro either, yet he started. For now, Williams is the best at pass pro we've had since Faulk. He's instrumental in protecting Stafford. That's reason enough to give him snaps. Very nice reply, mt. About Zach Evans. I’m just suggesting a handful of snaps per game to see if he flashes. If he does, then increase his snaps. If he doesn’t, then at least McVay tried and there’s always next year. I don’t see how McVay has much to lose by this unless he considers Evans’ pass pro a distinct liability. About Tomlinson.
