What I saw in the Atlanta game, and this is just my opinion, was playoff experience being the big difference maker. It looked clear to me that the Rams were tight and played tight while Atlanta had "been there, done that." I think that's a real thing and it showed in that game. You reference the Steelers and Chiefs as further evidence of resting starters being the culprit in theirby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Even if you take out the long runs, it's 12 carries for 54 yards. That's a 4.5 YPC clip. I'll take that every day. I thought the Falcons defense looked fast and they tackled very well. But I agree with those that said it was the Falcons offense keeping our offense on the sideline most of the 2nd half that was the killer (among other things already discussed).by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRFIP Quotesacram when the Rams win, its because of McVay's scheming and when the Rams lose blame it on Goff. When they explode for 30-40 points it is because of McVay and when they score 17 or less a lot of that is on Goff because "plan A" is taken away, usually by top 10 defenses and Goff has no answer. I'm all for cutting TA. If it wasn't for his contract I'd feel that he does have some value but he doesn't come close to being worth his current salary. So, take the cap hit but at the same time we'd save about $3MM that can go elsewhere. Regarding Watkins, I want the Rams to do what they can, within reason, to keep Watkins. I think that he brings so much to our offense, even if he isn't geby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteMamaRAMa I posted this 12 minutes ago under "Tuesday Announcement" a few posts down. Does no one read my posts? Sheesh. LOL. I read it Mama and I just saw that the contract is reportedly 10 years for $100 million. Just wow.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Built in Whiners love, but I digress. I really couldn't care less what the writer thinks about who's better than who. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. While I think Garappolo has looked pretty good so far, so has Goff. I believe Goff has what it takes to take us to the promised land (if not this year, then in the near future), and that's all I care about.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
They're 2nd and 3rd stringers for a reason. In normal situations you're never going to see them all playing all at once. It's not financially possible to have starter quality players populating the entire 53, it just isn't. Every team is in the same boat. I bet if any other team started THAT MANY 2nd and 3rd stringers they wouldn't look any better. Agreed that they didn't look very goodby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

Before the season, looking at the schedule, I really thought 8 wins was the absolute ceiling, IF everything went right. Now, here we are at 11-5, NFC West Champs, with an epic beat down of the SeaHags to boot. It really has been amazing. I want SO BAD to not go one-and-done in the playoffs, but even if we do I will still look at this season as amazing and entirely enjoyable with the futureby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
We're two days away from the game and I'm starting to amped up. I too am nervous because I see this game as a pretty even match which could go either way. What I pray doesn't happen is to be one-and-done in the playoffs. I think that if we win at least one game in the tournament it will solidify our legitimacy as a team to be reckoned with going into next season. I wouldn't necessarily call it a "Goff stat." It's more of a "first playoff game for a QB" stat. Just nitpicking! Carry on.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Hey jemach I appreciate your position on this, but I'm gonna pull a ZN on you. Just looking at those stats doesn't tell the whole story. Context matters. How many snaps did those guys get vs. Everett? What was the target percentage for those guys vs. Everett? How many of those targets were actually catchable balls? I agree that Everett hasn't done much this season and he didn't look impreby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought that Littleton showed up pretty good though. The guy just makes plays. Peterson looked pretty good too. Other than that? I didn't see much. As far as Mannion goes, it's tough to evaluate his performance since he was playing with backups the entire game. He also suffered from numerous drops. I did think though that he doesn't seem to have much touch on his passes where touch isby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

After starting his career 0-7, he is now even up at 11-11. Not too shabby. I know that wins and losses can't be put solely on the QB, but in reality that's what many people look at in determining whether a QB is good or not.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

Yep. At the beginning of the season I figured our ceiling was 8 wins. Now we're on the cusp of 12. It's been an amazing season so far and it feels like this team is just getting started in it's development. Of course I want the Rams to win it all, but if they don't, I'm still going to believe that this season far exceeded my expectations and be thankful for a fun and exciting season of Ramsby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

It's a crime he wasn't voted into the Pro Bowl. I think he's having his best season EVER. I'm glad the Rams never gave up on him when he kept getting injured and couldn't stay on the field. Agree Rock. If the WR/TE has made the catch prior to reaching the goal line he is then a runner and the same rule should apply as it does for a RB. The league has really effed this thing up when it comes to determining what is a catch and what isn't. It's ridiculous.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
