Gotta agree. Season over if we are 1-4 after this game. I thought the Whiners were going to blow us out and we won that one, so I'm hoping for the same kind of effort this week. Losing to the Bears was pathetic.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I am so glad I was wrong. I am so proud of our guys. Definitely some things to clean up, especially on defense, but we got the win against our hated rival. Love it.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
This is getting ridiculous. And here I thought the Rams were going to be very good this year.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteHazlet Hacksaw Thats all they are throwing so far Exactly. One would think that McVay could come up with something that has a chance to work. The fades never do. For us anyway.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
It seems like very time we get inside the 5 yard line, we fail to score a TD. We're always settling for FGs. That killed us in the playoff game against Detroit last season and it sure did not help us today in that debacle in Arizona. When we get down there, I pretty much expect to get a penalty, and/or lose yardage on a running play. Before you know it, it's 3rd and goal from the 19 instead oby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I appreciate the classy explanation Shecky. Don't get me wrong, I like Tutu. He has good hands and is pretty darn fast. He just hasn't been able to carve out a bigger role thus far in his career. I guess I favor the bigger WRs over the smaller ones but would not be upset at all if he makes the 53.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteShecky Ok, sorry. It was a little harsh. Cheers! Thanks.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteShecky QuoteRamsFanSinceLA Tutu - Trade? Catch up, man. The Rams have no intentions of trading him. Well excuse me Shecky! I simply posed a question. No reason to respond in that manner.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Sure, there is a chance, but I don't think it's likely unless either Puka or Kupp gets hurt for an extended time. My question is, how is the coaching staff going to choose the WRs that make the 53? It looks like our WR room is pretty stacked right now. 53 lock: Kupp 53 lock: Puka 53 lock: Robinson 53 lock: Whittington (I'm calling it already) How many are we going to keep on theby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamsdude The Fish will be reporting to work every day between 7 and 9! :lol3 LOL! Classic. Not only that, all teams in the league will finish with 8-8 records.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Wow, that is one weak argument.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
That's some really good tape. I'm no talent evaluator but when I watched Bennett playing for Georgia, I saw a competitive gamer. I have no idea if he can translate that to the pro level but I think he showed enough in college to get a fair chance. Of course, last season did not help his cause. I'm rooting for him.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Who cares how tall they are as long as they are effective and get the job done?by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Once again DP, your stuff is pure gold. Everything from your player analysis and mock drafts to draft reviews is outstanding. Great job as always. Thanks for all the work you do and especially for sharing it with the board.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Daniel Jeremiah has him as his 38th best player on his board. His write up about Fiske is very good. By the way, he has Verse as his 14th best player. I'd say we're doing pretty well.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Yep. What were we, 7-1 after that? And now in the off season we've done nothing but bolster the lines to keep this transformation going. I'm loving it.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
That leaves a huge, gaping hole on our D-Line. He will be nearly impossible to replace. Enjoy your life and your millions AD! It's been a pleasure and a treat having you on our team!by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDeadpool This offense could be what would happen if Mike Martz and Jon Robinson had a baby. Exciting, right? Love this line! That is exciting. Thanks Dead...love your work.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
It's good to see I'm not the only one who thinks Snead is one of the better GMs in the league. Does he have some misses? Sure, name me one GM who doesn't. Snead seems to have more hits than most. And, as mentioned, his synergy with McVay is very valuable. I'm glad we have him, and McVay of course.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Not so sure. He was on the couch all season until the Rams called. Out of all of the teams in the NFL, here are the ones I think that may be looking for a new starter that don't have a shot to get to the top 3 QBs in the draft (barring any trades): Atlanta Denver Indianapolis Minnesota Las Vegas Giants Pittsburgh It's possible he gets starter money elsewhere but I don't think it'sby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotealyoshamucci Every year. Evans is not a backup. His issues are nearly impossible to see unless you look right at them. The talent for decent backs that can give you quality carries in a game and a few quality games a year is really present this draft. 4-6th round should be all plus value. I mean there are like 30 backs. 10 that I trust with pass pro day 1. OK alyo, ya got me. Wby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I hope not. It seems to happen to us every year. It would be nice to have some continuity with our good coaches.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam Now. Is LA big enough for those two outsized personalities of Harbaugh and McVay? I wouldn't call McVay's personality "outsized" while Harbaugh's definitely is. Harbaugh will make the Chargers relevant and in pretty short order I believe. In one way I don't like that because I want LA to be the Rams City and not have to share it. The Chargers belong in San Diego.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteferragamo79 :couch is there a retarded hillbilly icon I can add Kittle: The ugliest man in the NFL.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Kind of kidding. There is no way I could ever pull for the Whiners. Even though after Joseph's plainly dirty hit on Higbee I said I would root against the Lions, I just can't root for the Whiners. My hatred for them runs very deep, while my feelings on the Lions is only "strongly dislike" in comparison. Go Lions.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah he did not look good in that game but in the few other games I saw of Washington he looked very good. What bothers me though is his throwing motion. It looks like he shotputs the ball. For some reason that bothers me, but he gets the ball to the receiver so it doesn't hinder him. In the NFL, would his passes get batted down at the line of scrimmage more so than other QBs because of thatby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah I saw this article and instantly lost a lot of respect for Campbell. Joseph easily could have targeted the thigh/waist area but no, he went for the knees. Same as what he did to the Vikings TE. Dirty player and Campbell defends him like that with no mention of Higbee's devastating injury. Not that he cares, but I no longer respect the guy and now I am rooting against the Lions.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Staley was our DC for one season, right? I thought he did a great job as we had a very good defense and I remember I hated losing him. I think if we lose Morris, we ought to reach out to Staley and see if we can't bring him back. What do you guys think?by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
