When they explode for 30-40 points it is because of McVay and when they score 17 or less a lot of that is on Goff because "plan A" is taken away, usually by top 10 defenses and Goff has no answer.

@RFIP I know you're not a Goff fan, and of course that is OK. But man, McVay gets the credit when 30-40 points are scored (no credit for Goff), but it's Goff's fault if 17 or fewer points are scored? So in other words, Goff either gets zero credit in wins (assuming a win scoring 30-40 points) or it's his fault in losses (assuming a loss scoring 17 or fewer points). That's not even close to fair.

I believe Goff has a ways to go in his development but he does look pretty good considering his age, his first coaching staff and scheme, and the college system he came from. I think he will develop further and be very, very good. If so, maybe you'll give him a little credit from time to time?
