Who would you rather have kicking a potential game winning 50 yarder, GZ or this Ficken guy? It's a big blow that I hope doesn't bite us in the a$$ in the playoffs.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewv ram I am old enuff to remember when the only thing the media offered was about seven minutes of half-time highlights on Monday Night, and then maybe there was one hour-long highlight show on the weekend with Pat Summerall and Tom Brookshier. And that was about it. ...plus we had to walk a hundred miles to school and back, uphill, both ways.... w v ...in the snow...without legsby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Reminds me of when the Whiners started getting good back in the early late 80s, early 90s. Before then, I didn't know ONE Whiner fan. After that, it seemed like EVERYBODY was suddenly, "and I've always been", a Whiner fan. Pretty obnoxious.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
You can't. It's impossible. Rams will dominate this division for years to come.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
As I understand it, a progression is just that. You look at option 1 ... open? Nope, look at option 2 ... open? Yep, throw him the ball, etc. So the question in my mind is why isn't Watkins option #1 more? Based on all of these stills that get posted every week showing how wide open he always is one might think that he should be the first read. What read is he? 3rd? 4th? Great, great post man. I felt like I was there with you. Must have been simply amazing to be able to give to ole Bob on the way out!! Ha ha ha.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Did you see him get up and start screaming? He loved it. I noticed one of the Seattle players turn his head and look at him like, dude... you're the kicker. Calm down.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
LOL. Great job Kevin. Very creative and funny! Thanks.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
In a game where we were SO DOMINANT, it's easy to overlook that moment. I gotta say, I was SO IMPRESSED with McVay when he did that. I'm sitting on my couch watching, and thinking ... this guy is only 31 years old!!! He saw the potential of our team losing its composure and he nipped it in the bud. The way he was talking to the defense left no doubt who is in charge of this team. So impresby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Really, the only thing that worries me about this game is Russell Wilson running around in circles for 10 seconds and then heaving up a prayer only to have one of his WRs catch the ball for a big gain. How many times have we seen this movie? It's mind-boggling. If the Rams can stop these types of plays from happening I like their chances. Oh, one more thing to consider. Questionable callsby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Great job Florida. Great read.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Wilson has shown that he can take his team down the field and win a game in the closing seconds. So far, Goff not so much. We need this game SO BAD not only to cement our playoff chances and most likely the division title, but for Goff to show that he can win a huge game against a strong, albeit wounded, opponent. If we win this game, even if it's not a last second, come from behind victory,by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
So it's going to be an extremely tough game, one in which I think the Rams SHOULD win. They just gotta eliminate those school yard plays by Wilson.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
IMO, even if the Pack run the table they are 10-6 and this year in the NFC I don't think 10-6 gets you in the playoffs. This is just off the top of my head as I haven't run through every teams schedule but if WE finish 10-6 I don't think we get in.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteCoy Bacon Cosell was a great announcer! I liked him a lot. Cosell, Gifford, and Meredith set the all time standard. I miss the wit and depth and variety of flavor Cosell was able to bring. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't he a lawyer at some point? There have been many excellent announcers. Knowledgeable and talented speakers make the game so much more enjoyable. I used to love Monby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I realize that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" but I really like CC on Sunday Night Football. For me, I'd hate to see him leave it permanently. I've never heard Warner announce a game so I don't have an opinion there. Hopefully he's good.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRFIP QuoteGreatRamNTheSky QuoteRFIP ..for those same draft picks IF Luck seems unlikely to return. Then turn the first rounder in to the QB of McVay's choosing to run his offense and now you have anther full 5 years of control over the most expensive position player on your team. What is up with that? Grits I'm ok with him. I am not a fan of trading the best player in the league foby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Fantastic post stlramz, very well said. All of us here have been through it all. I feel a kinship to all on this board even though I've never met anyone here. The win against the Saints was incredible and even though I've been ecstatic so far this season, this win makes me feel like, ok, this is actually real. We ARE a damn good football team. This exciting to say the least.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks for all of the tips guys. We've been told about snakes and spiders but not crocs! LOL. We're here in Adelaide for about 5 days then we go to Sydney for the rest of the time. I didn't get to see the Minny game but in reading some posts it seems like we made some mistakes that took us out of the game. Certainly disappointing as I thought the Rams would win this one. On to the Saiby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm excited about going there, but MAN! The Rams haven't been this good in FOREVER and I'm going to miss the next three games! I'm so pumped about this Minnesota tilt and then the Saints after that. I'm setting up the DVR so I can see them when I get back but I'm not going to be able to wait to find out how the games went. I'll be checking the board whenever I can. So, here's my predictionby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotespagsbacker Snead had no input on McVay, he just hoped he would keep his job, so let's please not give him credit for McVay hiring...he already gets far too much credit as it is. The guy is the ultimate poser. You're free to believe whatever you want but it doesn't make it fact. As fans of the team we want all picks and FAs to be wins but in the real world it doesn't work that way. Sneby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Minny's defense is no joke. They are probably the best defense we've played to date. Your logic about how the other good defenses have slowed us down is legit and something I've thought about as well. Playing in Minnesota is in their favor. So, I think the key for us is to STOP THEM. If we can keep their running game in check, I think we can put enough pressure on Keenum to force him intoby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Now THAT was a fun watch! Goff looks to have taken on the leadership role extremely well already. I'm lovin' it! Go Rams!by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

This is just my opinion and I'm not trying to change anybody else's. Fisher can be described in one word: Average. 6 winning records in 22 years of coaching is a fact and cannot be denied, 'circumstances' and all.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

It is an interesting read, and you're right. How he took out the first 6 games for comparison is really interesting. I really enjoyed the article.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Me too. Although I'd prefer 10-3 which would give us some breathing room on the Seahags, I think they split the next 4 games.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah the author says that there's a good chance that one or the other will end up a bust, based on other QBs that have come out 1-2 in the draft as historically one of the two ended up a bust. In this case I don't buy it. I think both of these guys are going to be very good, if not great, QBs for a long time.
