Haven't seen a race 'live' as yet... all replays.... and will probably miss this next one live - but I'm hoping to see a few of the next several live. I always prefer 'live', if possible. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I'd be very hard-pressed to spell out exactly what it is about the game that just doesn't work for me... all I can say is that it doesn't work for me. Big games, playoff and championship games, I can enjoy, and do. This year I forgot March Madness was even starting so I was late to the game. I think they were in the sweet sixteen before I became aware the tourney was taking place. I know whby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

And I'm referring specifically to two... Murder On the Orient Express and the newest - Death On The Nile. I'm not going to drag this out. I didn't like either of them. Won't watch a third should a third be in the offing. More important to you is the following - Both are very high in production value... and star very good actors. You may like both. As you know I'm a big Agatha fan.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Although certainly a business, and a mega one, it still has at least some pretense of not being that way. Certainly the emotions are real. Other than our Rams, (of course), I find the NCAA games of football and basketball more entertaining, (in general), than the pros. There is a down side - in the NCAA more, far more, mismatches occur which are, of course, horrible to watch. I love allby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

I might beforehand SAY I'm going to skip a Championship sporting event but I'm only kidding myself. During the World Cup, and I'm NOT big soccer fan, if need be I'll get up at 2, 3, 4, 5am to watch or listen to a big match. I simply do not miss big games, races, sporting events. I have no self control whatsoever. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Since I didn't have a real favorite I began watching the game rooting for UNC.... but at halftime I switched because as unlikely as I thought it was I wanted to see a comeback by Kansas... and they did. So at the end of the game, last few minutes, with the score swinging back and forth.... I was switching allegiance by the second. :laughing S'ok... a few times. Off the top of my head I know of 4 times this was discovered, and I should say 'proven', not just suspected. In 3 of the cases the guilty party was dismissed but received full benefits. In the 4th case nothing was done at all. Not sure my anecdotal evidence means anything in Texas... but if I were you I'd be prepared to expect the guilty party to be well rewarded. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I have been made aware of few cases of graft, nepotism, but without question the times I have been made aware overwhelmingly involved schools, in one way or another. Good catch.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I could survive on bread alone. It is without question my favorite food. Also my nemesis. Trying to control weight and loving bread as I do are not compatible. If they serve bread at the beginning of any restaurant meal, as most do, I seldom finish my main course having stuffed myself on bread. John Muir was like me... or I guess I'm like him. Not sure there is anything better.. .although the food I had in Japan comes very close. What that photo does not explain, and I have no photo, is why it has to be nearly exactly that type of clamp. That one does exist, obviously, but it's one not available to the public. What you WILL notice is that it's quite easily made. 1 metal plate, 4 U-bolts(2 @ 2" and 2 @1 3/8") and 8 holes. No, an elbow won't work... wish it would. It's not important... I just posted that to illustrate that I had need of a part that basically doesn't exist, at least not for the general public, and I thought it was going to be commonplace. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

Fascinating... notice the stools at the tail assembly? :laughing You're right... I believe that's the first WWI plane assembly plant I've ever seen. well, by search I mean I gave one gummy to my wife and had her try... then report to me if it did anything, anything at all. she reports... no, zip, nada, zilch. He had lost it, IMHO... and I say that with all due respect and appreciation for all he did for the Rams. And not just in the game... he was fun as heck to listen to in the mid'd up segments and also in his interviews. Quite a character... a very good one. It's Mason's, (my oldest grandson), last day working at the China Peak Ski Resort in 2022. As you can see in the background of this video the snow is basically gone. Only on the runs is there any left at all and most of that is manmade. Very few people skiing/snowboarding so the employees, although on duty, pretty much have the day to themselves.
