Yeah, I agree. Anybody that thinks Snead/McVay are gonna sit on their hands through trade deadline simply haven’t been paying attention these past 6 years. As long as Rams think that there’s ANY chance of returning to SB they’re gonna have their six-guns blazing. EVERYTHING is still on the table. Here’s PARAM… Well this year we only have to face him once.....okay twice but we're already 1-0. I'll worry about next year, next year. This is one of those situations that was damned if you do, damned if you don't. If we gave up the equivalent of the 4th overall pick in 2023 draft for CMC, what good would it have done running behind a banged up OL? Here’s Oldnotdead… They do get a franchise level player, albeit one who seems injury prone. What the Rams found out with OBJ, is that elite talent's value diminishes with each injury. His injury history while in the NFL. What is troubling is how many he's had just in the past two years. Thats a lot of draft capital to pay for a guy that has missed that many games just in the past two yearsby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s OntarioRam… It sucks to see CMC going to SF, but I am not too worried about it. That team destroys their RBs. No way McCaffery holds up and stays healthy. I also don't think he will be much of an upgrade over Mitchell (who himself is quite the talent) in that particular system, which really is all about just hitting the hole as fast and hard as possible... you don't need a RB of CMC's tby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s Oldnotdead… I just got off the phone to a friend who works for Fox Sports in Denver. He said there is talk of the Broncos talking to the Rams about trading Bradley Chubb, for Akers and either another player or a draft pick next year. I told him I'd haven't heard anything myself but it would make sense for Akers and the Rams. Chubb is in a contract year. They could extend the contracby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteLMU93 I much rather they go bargain hunting elsewhere. First I'll be curious if they really do get anything for Akers. A 2024 5th as Jourdan has speculated? Awesome... But as far as acquiring anyone I think back to the Corbett trade in mid-2019. A quality OG for a 2021 5th round pick. That's the type of deal I'd like to see them make to boost the OL again (especially with Edwards an UFA iby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again here. We have several weeks before OBJ is gonna be cleared to play. At least 4-6 weeks, they say. Not talking mere practice, I’m talking real play here. That’s probably best case scenario, btw.. We now have AR coming on and Jefferson returning together with Allen back as starting OC. So, why not see what we’ve got already on the roster? I didn’t really want Rams to go after CM, although they apparently did quite aggressively. CM is an elite talent (when healthy) and Rams love to stockpile those kinds of players. But the huge problem is that he’s missed so many games due to injury. Like almost half of them in last few years? Truly, this was a high-risk, high-reward gamble on the 49ers part. That was the deal breaker for me.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRam_Ruler And get a cheap one year rental. Have y'all seen this year's running back draft class? It's absolutely loaded. Maybe we can just get by this year and nab one then. Agreed, RR. His ability to stay healthy alone scares me.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
