They do get a franchise level player, albeit one who seems injury prone. What the Rams found out with OBJ, is that elite talent's value diminishes with each injury.
His injury history while in the NFL. What is troubling is how many he's had just in the past two years. Thats a lot of draft capital to pay for a guy that has missed that many games just in the past two years. The odds are better than not that he will miss crucial games during any playoff run.
An Edge is a far bigger immediate need for the Rams. Hopefully the OL can hold up until Shelton returns and the unit can finish the year strong.
