Quotesstrams How much responsibility does he bear? On every other team, it'd ALL be on him, but McVay doesn't give full responsibility to his O Coordinators.. at least as far as I know.. 90% of our current woes stem from incredible number of injuries on OL. How is that Coen’s responsibility? Or any other coach?by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotekw13 He has yet to deal with adversity. His fast talking company line bit will get tired quick if they don't right the ship. Seriously? Remember 2019? And they overcame tons of adversity last year right through the SB. C’mon, man…by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotestlramz After having the one of the losingest franchises dumpster fire situations. This coach is a boy wonder. That's why he's making moves instead of sitting still. I'm all in on McVay. He has brought me more joy as a fan than in any other five year stretch in my 47 year fandom. Well said, stlramz. Couldn’t agree more. Rams are not taking these struggles lying down. Or his cap cost? OTOH, he would be a typical blockbuster Snead/McVay move, wouldn’t he? And can you imagine how McVay might be able to utilize him? I once never dreamt that Rams could afford, much less actually acquire the likes of Ramsey, Stafford, and Von Miller. So I’m keeping an open mind here on the McCaffrey possibility.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteroman18 IMO means they are bringing in someone......of course personal issues don't have to point towards Cam himself, could very well be a family issue. They may have been planning to bring someone in before his issue came up.....maybe that brought on his personal issue? The fact is he just wasn't doing anything to help overcome the line issues...he just was not reliable to make things hby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

Fixing Offensive Offenses Rams FL Week 6 - It's Week 6 in the NFL, and it's not too early to panic. It is, however, too early to despair. At this point last season, the Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, and San Francisco 49ers were all sitting at 2-3, with various degrees of hair-pulling angst spread between them. That being said,by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Raheem Morris sounds off on recent roughing the passer controversies John Dillon Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season was defined by the league’s murky definition of what they consider to constitute a roughing the passer penalty, and though the Los Angeles Rams weren’t victims of a bad call, defensive coordinator Raheem Morris was asked about the recent controversies in his Thursday press cby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

I’ll bet he’s beating the bushes for help at Edge, OL, or maybe RB. Or maybe talking to OBJ’s agent. My money is on pursuing a quality Edge via trade. A long term solution type, say 3 years? That would be most bang for our buck for a playoff push, don’t you think? Or maybe a quality RB? Not just a 1 year rental type like Sony Michel? Perhaps a quality interior O lineman? I’ve looked and I can’t find any current info on Kyren Williams status. He may or may not be cleared to play after the bye. Could be not until mid-November. Sigh…by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Everybody agrees that OBJ is an elite talent and that he turbocharged a rams O once he assimilated into the O. Was practically uncoverable when playing with Kupp and Jefferson. Hard to put a value on that but it’s maybe borderline priceless. Some feel that Rams should move mountains to sign him for the playoffs and worry about the cap impact down the road. QuoteRam_Ruler Or do I only notice because I'm a Rams fan? Feels like anytime we're In any kind of slump a huge portion of us want to fire Mcvay, trade the expensive players, regret every draft pick, etc. So, you’re saying that some of us have a tendency to overreact, Ruler? Seems a little harsh, max, although I’m frustrated, too. Don’t know if I’ll ever get over that Humphrey/Atwell fubar, tbh. That choice was almost too obvious. They missed the layup, man. Outside of that mistake and without the benefit of hindsight I think their OL moves have been reasonable. QuoteLMU93 Interesting. I did not realize that about Jackson and Aboushi. Could be a logical move. And along those lines, maybe just maybe Jackson keeps the LG job Jackson has been a pleasant surprise at RG but I think Rams still see his long term best position as OT, specifically as swing OT. But if Boom slips for some reason, I could see Jackson as our new LOT starter. What an acquisitionby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

Matthew Stafford falling back on his process to help Rams offense improve John Dillon Matthew Stafford has taken a step back in 2022, but that doesn’t mean that he has given up on helping the Los Angeles Rams improve as the season wears on. Sean McVay assesses Joe Noteboom's performance on Rams offensive line Injuries on their offensive line have come to define the Los Angeles Rams’ season through five weeks. QuoteSoCalRAMatic How fixable is AR? Is it that his skills don't fit the scheme? Is it that he got his big paycheck and is trying not to get hurt? He wasn't lighting it up for the Bears and a lot of the reasoning is that his QBs weren't good. I hope it's not because he's not good. That would be a big FA super bust. QuoteLMU93 That they start Skura and Aboushi at C and LG, respectively. They've been with the team long enough to be prepared and they're solid veterans that HAVE TO be better than Evans and Kolone. QuoteRamsDynasty Showcase Van when he is back and package him and AR to the Titans to get Woods back. I can no longer copy and paste even small excerpts from her columns, certainly can’t use links (an Athletic thing, I guess), so you’ll have to just take my word that I read this tidbit from her latest column.
