Here’s OntarioRam… Unfortunately for the Rams, Cam Akers' trade value is at its all-time low. It might actually be at or near 0... Even at the best of times, teams will be hesitant to give up assets for a running back that is coming off of an achilles injury. In Akers' case, that RB has now put together some pretty awful film since returning from injury, even if there are some mitigatingby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Why the Rams should pass on a blockbuster Christian McCaffrey trade The Los Angeles Rams are the kings of blockbuster trades. In the last five years alone, they’ve acquired the likes of Matthew Stafford, Brandin Cooks, Jalen Ramsey and Von Miller. Les Snead and Sean McVay are never afraid to make a bold move, even at the cost of draft picks and salary cap space. Some fans are hopingby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteArkansas Ram I would not give him away for free. If not traded, just nfi him till the off season Like they did Mason (different but not different) I suspect that Rams feel that they no longer have much choice. QuoteOhiorams How is Mcvay image tarnish? Cam can't stay healthy, fumbles and can find the holes. Because McVay couldn’t find a way to even get along with a formerly promising 2nd round pick at a position of great need. To the point he’d prefer to jettison him. Puzzling. It’s a very rare thing when McVay can’t continue to work with a player. I think most of the problem here is with Akers,by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
I’ll support any decision Rams make, of course, but I think other moves would have more positive impact than acquiring McCaffrey. He’s a fabulous player when healthy, but therein lies the rub. He’s too often hurt. That’s the deal breaker for me. Cap hit can be worked around, I know, but another great RB at high cost riding the bench doesn’t work for me. Too many recent Gurley memories. QuoteL.A.Rams I think that is what will happen because Akers is damaged goods -- in terms of injury history, lack of production, and now this (whatever it is). Agreed, LA. Damaged goods (pun intended). Maybe a ham sandwich and a bag of chips? Addition by subtraction? Such a shame. Reputations of both Akers and McVay are tarnished here.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRam_Ruler When do we have a first round pick again? 2024? I don't think they bite on a second rounder. Don’t know, Ruler. Apparently, Panthers are gonna trade Burns prior to deadline. QuoteRam_Ruler But I don't think we have the immediate term assets. It’s doable if they can structure the contract advantageously. Might be worth it. Rams running back corps hasn’t exactly been exceeding expectations, so why no focus on coach Samples? Panthers DE Brian Burns should ignite interest from LA Rams . by Bret Stuter The LA Rams have a lot of places where the team could use help. QuoteStafford9 I hate the way McVay rotates the backs, let one of them play and get their game legs, hopefully Hendo will make the most of it. I think it behooves any given Ram RB to give it 100% on every play and make a statement such that McVay hates to pull him off the field. Start hot and stay hot. Quotemtramfan How does that fix the O line? Priorities. Here’s my thinking. The Ram OL is gonna fix itself simply by having starters return once healthy. Hopefully, Skura and Aboushi will be adequate bandaids until after the bye. So, no need to go crazy with outside interior O linemen. Edge and RB, otoh, might need an ‘outside’ fix.
