I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again here.
We have several weeks before OBJ is gonna be cleared to play. At least 4-6 weeks, they say. Not talking mere practice, I’m talking real play here. That’s probably best case scenario, btw..
We now have AR coming on and Jefferson returning together with Allen back as starting OC.
So, why not see what we’ve got already on the roster? If our O starts firing on all cylinders then OBJ would no longer be a big need and we could save serious cap dollars for the future.
But if AR and/or Jefferson struggle then Rams could sign OBJ with a clear conscience.
I think that is exactly the strategy Rams are pursuing.
