I think this logo has a lot more potential. Unfortunately, the Rams are insistent about have LA in there and using right angle versions of the letters with the curves of the horns just clashes. A contrast is one thing but the current approach just works against itself. That's why I think the head/horns should be to the left of the L in some fashion. QuoteClassicalwit I didn't think that there was any way that the Rams could screw up their brand and logo. I was wrong. No kidding. It's not like they had to come up with something from scratch. Did they really talk to that many people and not get a sense that the wider, more traditional horns are pretty important? My worst fear was that they were going to ignore tradition and what people wby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com

Well, Goff doesn't need to get better in a vacuum. The o-line has to play better but IMO, McVay wasn't exactly tailoring the offense to what strengths we actually had either. As much as I like McVay, there was some funking stuff going on for over a year now. As much as Goff and Gurley and the o-line have struggled, I can't say for certain that their struggles were all on them. McVay seemedby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
My recollection of Goff last year was that he started out rough, continuing his downward trend after the TNF game against KC but that he got a little better as the year went on. But he actually just tread water or got a little worse. His first 8 games in '19 he had 11 TD/7 INT. The last 8 he had 11 TD/9 INT. Rating was right around 87 for both halves. With the way McVay (didn't) use Gurley in scoring situations so often, I believe it was more than the knee that led to his release. The argument of load management makes sense in principal but when you look at how effective Gurley still was near the goal line and still taken out of the game, means to me that his knee is well enough, but there was a clash going on.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com

What is often left out of these conversations/comparisons is that it was literally a different era when the GSOT was doing what it did. The rules were different and far less slanted toward offenses and protecting players. IMO, if you put the GSOT Rams in today's NFL they are likely surpassing what they already did. This article seems to state as fact that Bortles is already gone. I hadn't heard anything about that. Or is this writer just assuming as much? Using the premise of the article, that there is a glut of QB's out there to be had, just where is Bortles going to get a shot?
