Bruce, Holt, Hakim, Proehl, Bouldin, Fitzgerald, Breaston........ btw, Jeremy Shockley, Amani Toomer, and Ike Hilliard weren't bad either in NY for KW.....
that's a lot of great WR's that KW had to throw to throughout his career......
Does it make more sense that all of these WR's did well because they had a QB that got them the ball or that KW just happened to always have good receivers? I think it's the former. And to suggest that Shockey, Toomer and Hilliard were anything but average at best is stretching your point. Toomer wasn't healthy during Warner's short time with the Giants and was basically a shell of his former self. Shockey dropped a TON of passes and was very unreliable. Hilliard was a relative bright spot but that sort of illustrates the state of that corps. Barber was carrying that offense and was their only true weapon.
Warner was having plenty of troubles of his own with the bad thumb and continued fumbling but his receivers were pretty lousy in NY.
