If you're in the mood Crazylegs, can you mock up something where the Ram head logo is "ramming" the "L" in LA? I think that would be a great way to incorporate the city and the logo. Not destroying it, just ramming it. Isn't that what Rams do? They aren't always ramming their heads together because they hate each other, it's just what they do.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
Like I said, Rams fans are forced to view it differently than everyone else for their sanity, if nothing else. But I don't see how this has been anything but a bad offseason so far. The best things to happen to us are getting Whitworth and Brockers back and those are the two guys we should have been upgrading!by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
Things are too fluid to make any predictions about this year's NFL season right now. The timeline keeps getting moved up and up so it seems as if the NFL will be okay. NHL and NBA are screwed and MLB will probably have to abbreviate their season but by the fall, it seems like things may be relatively normal.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
How many times can "they" do that, though? I don't know who's responsible but haven't they spent big on a few names now and moved on very quickly? Most people don't get too many $33M swings and misses. Getting out from under a bad contract you inherited from a previous regime is one thing but you don't get that credit when you made the mistake yourself. It was alive in the way that an underbaked cake looks just fine until you take it out of the oven. I enjoyed a few games here and there but attendance and viewership was pleasantly surprising, not strong. IMO, it wasn't even close to the quality of the USFL and that league barely survived 3 seasons. Vince McMahon probably got bailed out by the virus more than ruined by it. That's what I'm worried about. Our running game has been anemic regardless of who's back there(all sub 4.0 last year) and our passing game isn't creating the huge mismatches that it did in '17/'18. The success we had with the TE's last year can't be counted on IMO. Not in the long term. Take away Cooks and the whole passing game is going to be different. I'm also starting to see just why McVay and the Rams said adios. Gurley did well to put on a relatively neutral "face" the last couple of years but he must have been stirring some shyte behind the scenes. Reminds me of Puig and the Dodgers. They had to a walk away from a lot of "talent" to get that clubhouse cleaned out and back on track. McVay obviously didn't like theby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield is meek ? And I guess someone who enjoys beer is tough ?C'mon Waterfield, you've been around long enough to know what this means. You never gave the 49ers fans grief for being a wine and cheese crowd that were a bunch of front-runners? All the more reason to not cut off their proverbial nose to spite their face. I agree that it is a unique situation but I don't think anything other than time and winning is going to rectify that. But that isn't the point. They chose to wear the throwbacks while in the Coliseum and they couldn't get them right. Not to mention all the garbage they've trotted out since 2000. Sadly, the current regime couldn't even get the '73-'99 uniform right as the throwback the last couple of years and all they had to do was copy what they already had. Just how is anyone supposed to think they're going to get it right all on their own?by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
Don't really care for the overall list but do agree with a few of the selections. As objectively as I can look at it, I really don't rate any other uniform ahead of the Rams. There are some that are classic and more traditional but none that are better or as unique. Couple of gripes I have are the Cowboys blues. Inferring and reading between the lines seems to be the issue here. I have made my point as clearly as I know how. As far as catering to the majority, that seems prudent in general. And it doesn't mean to ignore or exclude those outside the majority. I just don't agree with targeting smaller demographics at the expense of the majority. Do you? I'm not speaking for anyone else so I can only suggest that we keep our conversation limited to what each of us actually said. That's a pretty big leap. Do you disagree that most football fans are blue collar compared to white collar? I don't. That isn't to say there aren't "any" white collar types but we're talking about the majority. It isn't that women aren't welcome but generally speaking, women aren't as interested in football as men.
