When I sked myself the question "How do I know when I can get the COVID-19 vaccine?" I had to go find the answer. What I found is that the answer is different for every state.
In Missouri, they're doling out the vaccine in phases. In phase 1A the vaccine is to be given to healthcare workers and residents & staff in nursing homes. In phase 1B the vaccine is to be given to first responders, essential workers, people at high-risk (18-64) and people over 65. There is a pre-registration but it could be weeks or months before you can schedule an appointment. In other words... unless you qualify for phase 1A, you may as well chill. It's gonna be a while.
