Working for the Fire Dept, I know there is collateral damage.

November 12, 2020 05:48AM
Overdoses are through the roof, suicide ATTEMPTS have been high, domestic violence and other assaults are up. After becoming a Firefighter years ago, I was STUNNED at the amount of people who are depressed, suffer anxiety etc and the amount of 911 calls to such people. I KNOW those calls have skyrocketed the last 10 months. All the while, I still hear reports of people almost totally quarantined STILL getting Covid. I wear a mask when out n about but I'm not really sold on if they work. Personally, I do not think Covid will EVER go away. Even if there's a vaccine, like the Flu Shot, it will be hit or miss. Personally, I REFUSE to get a flu shot. I'm not anti vaccine but those damn flu shots SUCKED for me! Got them for seven years.. 1986-93... I had the Flu FOUR times!

I think it is all random. I also think it is INSANE for people to fret over the USELESS / DAILY Covid numbers that the Media LOVES to post. All that does is stir fear....for NO reason. My next door neighbor had Covid just 2 months ago. Life HAD to go on for me. I'd also love to know why the media does not post survival/ recovery numbers???

Bottom line.... It's ALL common hygene / common sense (That went BUH BYE years ago!) and just hope for the best. Everything else is just unwarranted panic.
