but I tried and tried and tried to do that.. and couldn't ever stay in time trying to punch buttons, cuz the buttons kind of were stiff.. Mine didn't have any kind of timing correction on it - keep in mind mine is from the 80's - before computers, for the most part..
The new ones might be better at it.. My other concern is: can you "multi-track" that beat? Because you sure aren't gonna keep a high hat rhythm with one hand while doing snare and kick with the other.. Maybe a drummer can, but I'd get messed up at some point.. Now, if you could just do hi-hats, then go back and add snare and then kick, that might be doable..
