..and it does take a little bit of doing, you'll be cranking that stuff out like a pro.. Believe it or not, in college, in speech class, one of my three speeches, was how to program a drum machine.. seriously.. I had poster boards with what you see in the little programming window.. and did each instrument one by one, letting the class hear it looping over and over.. All I programmed for them was the beginning beat of "Living After Midnight" by Judas Priest.. very, very easy..
Anyways, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.. Really, the only thing you hafta know is that initially your Pattern, or measure, is going to be divided into 16 parts and then you just put whatever drum in whatever time slot you need to make the rhythm you want.. I just drew this up for ya.. this SHOULD be the diagram for the beginning beat of Living After Midnight by Priest.. Jimmy, if its jacked up, let me know.. I'm going by memory and hopefully didn't screw up the timing..
