depending on the schools and towns involved , maybe some are a little closer , some a little farther , but I would say 15 miles give or take is pretty close
what usually happens , or at least they try to have happen , if it's two towns consolidating they'll move all the high school kids to one town and all the grade school and middle school kids to the other town
which is what happened in our case , my old high school is now just the grade school and middle school
in other cases , when a school like Everly just close their doors without consolidation , their kids can pick and choose where they want to go , many split up between Spencer and Sibley Ocheyedan
