I know it’s good for you but I simply don’t care for it. I am wondering if I eat more of it will I like it better.
There is also buying it. Farm raised salmon is evidently full of bacteria. I wouldn’t know the difference either way. My wife gets caramelized salmon which is ok but it taste like someone sparkled sugar on it.
It’s been a while but I think I like flounder and maybe sea trout... lol
Does canned tuna count? Of course with high mercury levels in some (all?) it just makes it easier to eat anything else.
Also there is an excellent chance that I will not go to a seafood store merely for fish and buying seafood at a grocery store seems like a bad idea.
I learned how to filet a fish (in Canada) at a very young age. We caught and ate smallmouth and walleye. Now I will cook haddock (baked in oil with onion and garlic), but that is delicate because you have to time it *exactly* *right*. A few seconds too long and it goes from nicely delicate to the consistency of frozen fish sticks. And salmon. I bake salmon in oil, wine, and lemon juice. I ate so much salmon 2 or 3 summers ago that I actually got gout from it (though to be fair, till then I didn't KNOW you could get gout from salmon). Plus there are sea food places all around me and I like picking up cooked scallops for takeout.
